{Christmas Eve}

Movie: Elf Pictures, Images and Photos
Merry Christmas Eve!!!! The day before Christmas is always super busy with cooking, baking and cleaning, and this year was no exception! My mom made coffee cakes, egg nog pie, and many other delicious goodies(: Every year we do something different on Christmas eve, and this year we decided to keep it simple: have dinner and watch the Christmas movie Elf.If you haven't seen Elf, its a hilarious movie about Buddy the Elf who gets stranded in New York City during Christmas time. I defiantly recommend it (: anyways! im about to go sit by the fire and enjoy a movie with my family and a cup of egg nog!(:

Remember the true reason for the season! Jesus Christ the Son of God!
"Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us).When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus." Matthew 1:18-25

{Christmas Party}

Well, this is my first blog post ever, so im a little bit nervous! But lets hope everything goes well!
So yesterday I went to my friend Emma Harasick's house for a Christmas Party. There is a group of about 25 of us that get together once a month to have fellowship, eat and laugh. We got there and talked, played a game, ate, and sang. It was such a wonderful night, and I'm so thankful for the blessing of friendship!

These were the wonderful red velvet cupcakes made by Brianna Stedman!
